Utagawa Hiroshige (1797–1858) JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT laid on black paper. Title: The Gion Shrine in Snow, from the series Famous Views of Kyoto. Utagawa Hiroshige, born Ando Tokutaro, was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist, considered the last great master of that tradition. Hiroshige is best known for his horizontal-format landscape series The Fifty-three Stations of the Takaido and for his vertical-format landscape series One Hundred Famous Views of Edo.PLEASE READ THE CONDITION REPORT BELOW BEFORE BIDDING.

Condition: SELLING AS A DAMAGED & TOUCHED PRINT, no margins, some fading, a touch up to the upper left, possibly tear repair, glued to a black paper, otherwise a very good impression relatively good aged colors, The frame has no hanging wires otherwise Ready to display.
